&#8211; How to Report Abuse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you have concerns or suspect that an adult is at risk of either being harmed or abused, then you must report it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To report abuse you should:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Call Adult Safeguarding team via your local council as shown below<\/li>\n<li>If a crime is taking place now, dial\u00a0<strong>101\u00a0<\/strong>to inform the police (or\u00a0<strong>999 <\/strong>if it is a serious crime\/an emergency).<\/li>\n<li>Call\u00a0<strong>999\u00a0<\/strong>if you believe any other emergency service is needed.<\/li>\n<li>You may also report concerns to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on\u00a0<strong>03000 61 61 61\u00a0<\/strong>if your concern relates to a care organisation i.e. care home,
