Laura Webster – feedback to her Tutor/Assessor
For the past year I have been studying my NVQ level 3 in Learning disabilities, as I have not worked within the learning disability sector before this NVQ level 3 has helped me learn more information about different disabilities such as scoliosis, cerebral palsy, profound learning disabilities and peg feeding. I have researched on the internet, asked colleagues about information on these 4 topics and also had help from my NVQ assessor Amanda Shaw.
I have also had a promotion to senior support worker whilst I have been studying my level 3, my level 3 has helped me to understand more about my new job role.
Amanda Shaw has been an amazing help to me, she has gone above and beyond to help me gain extra knowledge for my NVQ level 3 and about my new job role, I appreciate everything that Amanda has done for me and I will take the knowledge with me that she has taught me once my level 3 is finished. I will miss Amanda’s knowledge, advice and support as an NVQ assessor once the course has completed.
Thank you Amanda for all you have done for me in these past 2 years, and I will always remember the things you have taught me, you are a very knowledgeable and helpful person I don’t think I would have been able to do both my level 2 & 3 without your help.
Thank you again
